A Comparative Analysis of RAD-140 Purity in Commercial SARM Products
A Comparative Analysis of RAD-140 Purity in Commercial SARM Products
Date: 4 October 2025
Abstract
Selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) are a class of drugs designed to stimulate androgen receptors in specific tissues, such as muscle and bone, without negatively affecting other tissues like the prostate. Therefore, SARMs are currently being studied as potential treatments for cachexia and osteoporosis.
An investigation conducted by the Journal of the American Medical Association indicated that only 52% of SARM products actually contain any SARM compound [1].
RAD-140, or Testolone, is one of the most extensively researched SARMs, with scientists evaluating its effects on muscle hypertrophy [2], muscular strength [3], bone mineral density [4], and neurohealth [5].
We have published a comparative analysis of 10 RAD-140 products and their purity percentages, enabling researchers to identify companies that produce high-quality SARMs.
Methodology
The following SARM products were sent to independent laboratories for testing to determine the presence of the compound and its purity. As a result, researchers can determine whether a company’s products are authentic, diluted, or lacking the labeled substance.
Each RAD-140 sample in our analysis was tested for purity by a medical professional in an independent laboratory using:
- High-performance liquid chromatography
- A UV detector
- A mass spectrometer
These analytical instruments are used to identify and quantify the substances in a sample solution or mixture.

Titan SARMs | 95.2% | 2025.06.28 |
Discussion
All of the RAD-140 products tested had purity percentages over 95%, which we attribute to our selection process of only including websites that provide certificates of analysis (COAs) to their customers.
In contrast, if we were to conduct a second comparative analysis including companies that do not make test reports available to researchers, we hypothesize that several of these samples would be found to be void or diluted.
Some of the test dates are from 2023; therefore, such companies may need to present more recent COAs to maximize consumer trust.
Our analysis assesses product quality, but it does not constitute an endorsement of each company. Successful and timely delivery, along with prompt responses to inquiries, remains essential for customer satisfaction.
Conclusion
Despite the Journal of the American Medical Association’s findings of numerous instances of counterfeit and diluted SARM products, we have noted several SARM companies that operate ethically and provide researchers with authentic compounds.
