These measures can reduce the risk of hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerosis.

RAD 140 will cause alterations in ALT (alanine transaminase) and AST (aspartate transaminase) liver enzymes, signifying hepatitis (hepatic inflammation). This is a consequence of RAD 140 being a hepatotoxic oral compound. We have found 500 mg/day of tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA) to be effective in reducing strain on the liver during RAD 140 cycles.

Thus, TUDCA can reduce the risk of hypertransaminasemia from RAD 140, which in rare cases may cause potential cholestasis, hepatic peliosis, and hepatic adenoma in users (Pan et al., 2013).
